Remote Access to Mac Files

I moved from MobileMe to iCloud, unfortunately I lost my Back to My Mac feature between Lion and Snow Leopard computers. So on days like today, when I am at home away from the computer, I can't easily grab files from work anymore. I use LogMeIn to view my desktop, but I can't easily copy over files like I could with Back To My Mac.

I was wondering if it's possible to setup port mapping so I could access my remote work Mac via Transmit via either WebDAV or FTP.

Also, is it possible to connect to my SugarSync account via Transmit as well?

I thought this would work, but when I test in Terminal it attempts to connect to the right Mac and port, but says Operation Timed Out.
