Remote app in control centre

Have an Apple TV 2 and a 4.

When I open the remote App from the control centre it will only recognise the Apple TV 4.

If I open the app from the app on the home screen then it sees both Apple tvs.

Any ideas how to get it to see it in the control centre short cut?
