Remote app loses library when iphone autolocks

Hi all

Hope someone can help. I'm having a problem with Remote app losing the itunes library on my pc (not checked with my macbook yet). When the iphone autolocks itself and i reactivate it, Remote cannot find the itunes library, however if i prevent the phone from locking then this doesn't happen.

I'm thinking that maybe on autolock, the wireless on the phone switches off, the library get's lost. The only way i can only get the library back on the iphone is closing and then re-opening itunes on the pc.

Itunes is allowed through the firewall in and out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Running itunes 10.1.2.17, ios 4.1 on 3g.

Well, after a bit of searching, it due to the upgrade of itunes and or Remote app.

They have removed the "stay connected" feature in Remote so it will lose tghe library when trhe phone auto locks.

What a stupid thing to remove, it makes it a pretty useless app now.

I have exactly the same problem with Itunes 10.6 and IOS 5.1.

How can Apple not know this, I have been all over the Apple blog and community sites and have found nothing.

Any suggestions?
