remote.app not recognized in iTunes

Hello!
i have an iPhone 3G, and remote.app installed there. app runs normally, just iTunes on my mac doesn't seem to find it. i am conected to the same wifi network, so i have no idea what to do now. i can't see iPhone in devices list, as i've seen on videos online.

i have firewall disabled and i have enabled home sharnig in iTunes...
