Remote App not working on new iMac

Just replaced one of my old G4 iMac's with a beautiful new one. I used migration assistant to transfer all of my info from the old one(blissfully easy), but the Remote App on my iPhone and iPod touch is not finding my library on the new machine. Both show up in the "devices" tab in iTunes, and the "look for devices" is enabled. iTunes is open, and they are on the same network. I tried the "add library feature, but nothing happens when I click on either of the devices in the list(was trying to enter a new passcode) Suggestions?

Un- and Re- installing Remote and connecting directly to the computer solved the issue
