I downloaded the new IOS6 Remote apps for my iPhone 4S and first gen iPad. Didn't update to IOS6 yet (on the iPhone, can't update on the original iPad). But I did update the apps.

Since I've updated the apps I can't see my iTunes in the remote. It keeps asking me to turn on home sharing. But it's already on.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Also, my computer can't connect to the Airport Utility. My phone and iPad, however, CAN see the airport utility.

Turn off and turn on homesharing on your mac + iOS device.
Then try sharing from the music/video app.
Remote should now see your library.
