Remote app works for iPhone but not for iPad, HELP!

I have been trying to get the remote app to work for my iPad but it doesn't. I've tried adding the library by entering the four digit code with no luck. Home sharing is on and I know it must not be my connection b/c my iPhone can connect via app just fine.

The app has worked on my iPad in the past but this is the first time I've tried to use it in a couple weeks. Your help is appreciated.

try these

-check that your ipad wifi is on.
-check that you are connected to the same wireless network as your Apple TV
-delete the app and reinstall

I tried all of the above and it still doesnt work. Any other ideas?

Reboot everything; your iPad, router and computer. Then try again..

-Reset network settings on the iPad. You will have to renter your wifi passwords for every network you connect to.

-Does your ipad connect to the web ok via wifi? If not, there might be a problem with the iPad.

Just did that. Still cant connect. This is really baffling.

That worked, thanks! I just logged out of my network and logged back in and it worked.
