Does anyone know if there is a remote app for the iPhone and/or iPad to control the other device. For example if I'm watching a movie on my iPhone (through the T.V.) I would like to use my iPad to control it and vice versa. Thanks in advance!

Not possible without jailbreaking, and even then I don't know of any way to do it.

It would require a service running in the background which could control system-level remote functions.

Maybe an easier way would be to use a dock with an IR remote that could control it. The dock would need to have the TV output you want too though.

There is an app called Tango Remote (or something like that) that does that for music... Not sure if it does video.

Tango is exactly what I'm thinking of, but you are right it doesn't do video. Thanks for the quick replies!
