Hey all,

I have a Mac mini at home that I leave on 24hr. I use Jump Desktop to get onto it when I need to do something from work or elsewhere.

I am wondering if there is an app I can use to push through just one app instead of the whole desktop? I want to be able to use Messages app from my work PC, but not have to use my Mac Mini's entire desktop.

Think like how VMware horizon and windows server can present just one remote application with the users local desktop rather than an entire Remote Desktop.

Hope this makes sense. I tried to look on google but all I seem to find is guides on how to set up MS remote app ON a Mac, rather than the other way around.

Cheers,

I suppose you're implying that you don't have an iPhone tied to the same Apple ID as your Mac Mini at home.

I don't know of a way to remote into a single app running on a Mac.

Sorry yes I do have an iPhone on the same Apple ID. It's more just for convenience that I want to be able to use iMessage from my PC, especially when I need to send longer messages. :)
