Remote Assistance Issue

Hi

I just bought my first Apple Macbook Pro and still finding my way around.

I am looking for a means to emulate Instant Messengers Remote Assistance on a friends PC but so far no joy. I have office 11 Business edition which has remote access tool - can that be used outside of a network?

Is there an app that will let me do this?

Messenger on Macbook is poor compared to PC version which is very disappointing but so far that is the only downside. Loving it

You could take a look at the free version of TeamViewer, it enables you to remotely assist on any computer connected to the internet.
