Remote Connect to Airdisk

I've been trying to remotely connect to my airdisk for a few days now, but can't quite figure it out. I can connect to my IP address via afp - it prompts me to enter my AEBS password and then prompts me to choose a a volume to mount. But at this window there is no volume to mount. I've chosen to share disks over the Ethernet WAN port. What gives?
