I've trawled the forums and found similar threads to this but not directly the same so hopefully I'm not going over old ground!
I recently bought a Time Capsule (v7.5.2) and have setup as router and NAS, working perfectly happily in the home with Windows pc's. However, I want to be able to access the files remotely, also from Windows pc's (so no Back to My Mac option). I have the following configured on:
- Enable File Sharing
- Share Disks over WAN
- Share Disks over the Internet using Bonjour (although no idea what this does!)
- I'm Dynamic IP so have a Dynamic DNS account
- MobileMe account (although as access is from a Windows pc this doesn't seem to do anything)
- I've tried various Port Forward mappings
So far all combinations have failed and grateful for any guidance!
