Is there a software I can use to control my PC with my mac? like if I set up a server on the PC and use the Client on a mac?

I think you can use LogMeIn. You'll need to install software on the target PC and on the Mac you control the PC via a webbrowser, so no software needed on the Mac.
There is also a beta btw which you can use to control a Mac (with another Mac or a PC).
Both programs are free and easy to use.

It really is fantastic. I love LogMeIn :)

If the PC is running XP or Vista you can install the Remote Desktop Client software for Mac. Download it from Microsoft. It can work directly or over a vpn (the way I use it for work). It works pretty much the same as RDC on a PC, except you are running it on a Mac. You must enable remote connections on the PC first. It is MUCH faster than using vnc and some other methods, and is officially supported by MSFT.
