Hi - I have a Mac Pro workstation which I also use as a television. I use EyeTV along with a HDHomeRun as a TV tuner and also use Front Row, DVD Player, etc. Can anyone recommend a good remote control? Ideally I'd like something that'll allow me to map buttons to key combos or AppleScripts - i.e. pressing "Play" will fire Command-P, or pressing Power will run an applescript to blank out the display.
Right now I have an ATI Remote Wonder Plus. It does everything I want except the receiver is picking up interference. The Remote Wonder has a unique id function which is supposed to help in this situation but it doesn't seem to work correctly on the Mac. The Remote Wonder is aimed mainly at PCs so I don't have a lot of confidence that this'll be fixed in future updates.
