Remote Desktop Connection Mac to Win7

Im am new to RDC

I installed it on my macbook and enabled it on my PC
I started the RDC program and typed in my ip-address for my PC because the computer name didn't work

then it asks for credentials and i try everything from my user name to no user name

I do have an administrator user on the PC but it has no password

what am i doing wrong?

You need to go into the computer your remoting into. Go to control panel. Then administrative tools. Then in there go to local security policy. Once in there go to local policy, then security options. Select option:
Accounts: Limit local account use of blank passwords to console logon only and set it to disable. That should fix your issue.
