Sorry if I didn't search the right thing when looking for an answer.

Just as the title shows. I am trying to figure out how to view the desktop, and possibly control, my 10.6 machine from my Windows 7 machine. I am trying to do this mostly locally but wouldn't mind remotely well.

Not too important but if I can reverse the direction it would be nice too.

I can acquire any application to do this if needed

Someone please help. Thanks in advance all.

W7 to OSX: VNC (there is no native Windows client for an ARD connection)
OSX to W7: Remote Desktop Client (from M$)

Thanks for the reply. I have VNC Enterprise already but dont know how to configure for local. Searched Google but nothing. Anymore information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I assume VNC Enterprise is a Windows application. I have no idea about this specific application but I am sure you can figure it out with the manual. I use free TightVNC (on XP though) which works simple and well enough.

The main thing is, to activate the VNC server on the MacOSX side which is pretty straight forward. Enable the VNC option under ScreenSharing, perhaps set a password for security. Then connect to your Mac's IP from your W7 with whatever VNC client.
