I recently switched my wife over to a new late 2013 13" Macbook Pro and I bootcamped it and installed Windows 7 Pro on it. She's been using an older ASUS window 7 laptop for a few years. She has to remote into her client on a daily basis and the client provided her with a RDP file with all the setting she needs to access the database no matter where she is. On the ASUS computer you just click the RDP file and Remode Desktop launches and she's able to log in. On the new Macbook, if you're connected over WiFi, it gives and error saying the remote computer is not responding. If you plug the Macbook in using a LAN cable it works great and she's able to log in.

This happens on any connectiong no matter where we are. At home, at the office, at the actual clients office. It doesn't matter, it just doesn't work when trying to do it using the WiFi connection. The only solution is to plug in the LAN cable and this is not a good solution because we are not always near a LAN connection when we are traveling in hotels or on the road.

We have three laptops and two are able to connect without any issues over WiFi using the RDP file that was sent to her. Only the Macbook Pro will not connect over WiFi. I've tried to disable windows firewall, but that didn't change anything.

I'm pulling my hair out here trying to figure out why it will not work. I don't think it's an issue on the clients end as we have no problem with any other computer except the Macbook Pro.
