Is there any way to do screen sharing/VNC/RDP etc, but for a single OS X application only?

I have gone to Wikpedia's web page which compares features for remote desktop software, and they refer to this feature as "seamless window". There are a couple dozen applications that seem to do this. Of those, there are several that also have OS X hosts. Of those, many are also free. That seemed very promising, at first.

The problem is, over and over and over again I've installed these only to find that the OS X host doesn't have all of the features that the Windows host does, and every single time "seamless window" is one of the features it doesn't have. Most websites I've visited so far do not make it clear which features are included on which OS, and so I have to download and try over and over again.

I did find one application that explicitly states it can share individual windows on OS X (Shared App VNC), but this is so old it's a Cocoa app for PowerPC Macs only.

Anyway, after over 10 hours of research and trying over and over again, I'm sick of this. So I thought I'd ask if anyone knows. Is there remote desktop application with an OS X host that can screen share applications, not the entire desktop?
