Remote disc when the "host" computer is wired and my macbook pro is "wireless"

Hello,

Can this be done? I have it connected to the schools wifi connection but the host computer is on the schools wired network. I have installed the suitable software on the windows machine.

On a school computer typically not, because the school computers aren't networked together like they are in a normal home network. Your laptop isn't going to be in the same "network system" (for a lack of a better word) as the school computers.
