Hi - I'm new to the MBA and to the remote disc feature and am trying to get it sorted out. The Apple site is unclear on this point, but it makes it seem like both computers need a WIRELESS connection to the same network in order to use remote disc.

I have a Windows desktop I'd like to use the drive from, but it has no wireless card. It's connected by ethernet to my network, which I thought would be sufficient, but my desktop drive is not showing up in Remote Disc.

Any ideas?

Yep...I got that far, following instructions from the Apple site. And I enabled disc sharing in the appropriate place in my Windows Control Panel. But the disc still didn't show up. My suspicion is that possibly the desktop needs to be on the wireless network, but that seems silly.
