Remote fast on iPhone 4?

Remote on my 3G takes something like 20 seconds to connect and clicking play/pause there's a lag of 5 seconds or so. ALmost unusable. Is it lightning on the iPhone 4 or is there still a lag?

No lag at all on iPhone 4. Takes a few seconds to connect at first, but once it's connected it's pretty much instant.
