Remote lock on MacBook

I was testing the remote lock feature and locked my MacBook pro with a 4 digit code. I have tried to unlock my MacBook pro using this code and I keep getting told wrong passcode, even though I know it is the correct passcode.

Am I going to have to wipe my mbp and start again, or are there other ways around this?
