i need some help setting up my AP extreme to accept printing through WAN. if anybody has any experience with this and vista please let me know!
i think i have everything set up properly on my end, but my friend, using vista, cant seem to print onto my shared printer. gonna try using a mac and bonjour later today, but that probably wont solve the vista problem...

I'm going to be short on specifics, as I don't have an Airport Extreme.
From the PC, you must set up to print using standard TCP/IP to port 9000, and you'll need your friend to use the external IP address of the Extreme base.

On the Airport Extreme, you need to forward port 9000 to the local IP address of the Extreme.

ok I'll try port 9000, should this be tcp or udp port 9000?
i thought installing bonjour for windows would do the trick, guess i was wrong, because it doesn't find the printer.
thanks a lot for your reply, will update as soon as i get a chance to try it out again!
