Remote Problem

ok so im on a mbp n it connects no problem wit my itunes on mac os x but when i go on windows n tried to connect to the window's itunes library i just simply dunno what to do.... the screen on itunes on windows that asks u for the password simply just dont show up...
This is what i did

1. connected my iphone to the same network
2.opened up remote on my phone n pressed add library
3. passcode showed up...
4. itunes on windows doesnt show anything...........

just out of interest , Windows Vista with McAfee Virus Scan installed ?

if so i'm having issues sharing itunes Libs from Win/Mac

no i have nod32 instead........... p.s i tried all the port forwarding, lan setting stuff still no luck........ wtf microsoft thats y it sux
