Remote seems to have problems with fast forward and rewind after update

For some bizarre reason the remote doesn’t have the 10 second forward and back like it used to

Is there a setting I’m missing ?

no,

try rebooting the aTV,
or the remote (hold menu and vol+ for a few seconds

no guarantees, but it might work.

This OS release seems to be less than ready for prime time.
