Remote Speakers outside of Itunes

I was wondering if it is possible to use my remote speakers through airport express to play all sounds from the computer and not just through itunes. any info would be greatly appreciated.

You can use Airfoil. It should do exactly what you want

Watching videos provides an audio delay sync to what you are watching though.
