remote startup of iMac

Hi, anyone know of a way to remotely startup my G5 iMac remotely so that I can access it via SFTP? I have set the energy saver to start up on a modem ring, but this doesen't seem to work, I would try the wakeup with ethernet option, but it's connected wirelessly.

Any ideas?

Um... He has a mac, this is an apple forum I highly doubt that card will do IE: It wont work.

That card doesn't care if you are mac or any other race, it's hardware/software independent

It looks nice although sounds like it unplugs your computer from power eek .... I prefer my card since it will shut it down first (as pressing power button does).

Thanks for replies, but both suggestions involve powering the computer on and off, I only want to wake my iMac from sleep.
Have found a partial solution of setting eyetv to wake from sleep to check tvtv.co.uk every hour, but it's not ideal.
