Remote system event logging

I'm having some problems with my router (Draytek Vigor2200X). It has the option to write router events, errors to an external system log file at IP address port 514. How do I set up my mac running os x 10.2.6 to accept log entries at this port? Port 514 is the default for this isn't it? Can anybody point me in the right direction?

try typing http://192.168.0.1:514
where 192.168.0.1 is just an example (what my router is set to). you will need to know what your router is set to and then replace my example address with your router's IP.
