Remote time machine to network-only-drive?

Hi.

I would like to set up a remote time machine backup using only a network connected external harddrive in my parents house.

Is this possible? I have tried and read a little bit about it, but i can't find exactly the kind of setup i would like.

Summary:
  1. External hard drive at my parents house, connected to the internet
  2. Setting up my mac to use this drive as a remote time machine backup

Is this possible? Any better ideas?
