Remote video mirroring?

Any way to mirror video from the ipad2 (or iPhone 4) to a TV remotely? I'd like to hook up my devise to a Tv and control Netflix from across the room, like I can do with Roku. Will Apple dock do this? I'm surprised there is no obvious (at least to me) way to do this.
