My toddler put the Apple TV remote into a glass of juice this morning.

It’s not working at the moment. I’ve left it to dry out.

Is it likely to work again?

I have a spare from the time my toddler hid it and we couldn’t find it for 2 months.

I use a harmony remote for a 3rd and 4th generation apple tv. Works perfectly.

The "juiced" remote would need to be disassembled, cleaned, dried, and reassembled. Even after doing all this, it still may not work properly.

Put it into clean water to get the orange juice out. Then put it into rice for a couple of days. It might be dead for good already (orange juice is the most horrible thing possible for electronics) but I would give that a try.

If you are going to soak the remote, I recommend distilled water. When non-distilled water dries, it will leave behind residue which may cause further problems. Rather than using rice, I recommend using desiccant, like the packages included with electronics.
