Hi guys,

I'm looking at getting a Mac Pro with an ACD and some sort of Digital TV tuner. Is it possible to use an IR remote through one of these systems (elgato and the like) to operate Front Row? I know the Mac Pro doesn't come with Front Row but I thought I'd install it as I'm hoping to use the system as the basis of an audio/visual centre. Would I need to use the Apple remote? Are there any 3rd party IR receivers that could be used to pick up the signal? Would Front Row work with a Bluetooth controller? What's the likelyhood of the next-gen ACDs containing an IR receiver? I'm not in that much of a hurry to get anything, so could wait for a bit.

Cheers,
Hannibales
