Before I buy a Mac I need to know whether I will still be able to remote into my home computer (which will become a Mac soon) from work, which is a PC.
Will this still be possible?
Will I need to have any software on my home Mac to allow me to do this?
Will I continue to be able to work on my work computer without having all of its software installed on my Mac at home?
Thanks

It is possible. You simply need to enable either Screen Sharing or Remote Control, then enable a VNC account, and connect to your computer via VNC. I do it at work, to connect from a PC in one department to my desk iMac.

There are also other methods to accomplish this easily. TeamViewer works with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, Ubuntu, iPhone, iPad, etc.
