Removal of Garage Ban

Is it possible to remove garage band from Mojave? I tried but it said it was protected Tom

protected? can't you just put in your password, and away it goes? also, if you want to reclaim some more drive space, remove the Apple Loops folder (in HD>Library>Audio), and the garageband folder in HD>Library>Application Support.

Thanks for your help, actually in Mojave when you put it in the trash a helper comes up and gets all the other stuff also. Thanks again Tom

in mojave? or do you have a 3rd-party app that's collecting 'related' files??

Just click "About this mac" under the apple icon, click on "Storage", then click "Manage", then click "Music Creation", and finally click "Remove Garageband sound library"
