I've just noticed a small scratch (more like a nick) right on the stand of the iMac under the Apple logo. Of course, it's in my line of sight so now that I see it, I can't unsee it. I really could care less about any scratches on the back and might end up feeling the same way about this.

Anyone successfully use any tricks to buff out/minimize small scratches/nicks on their aluminum iMacs?

I think the base was nicked by the heatsink of my external NVME drive. It's minor, thought it was just a piece of dust until I realized it was a small indentation. Of course I see it now everytime I look at it.

leave and ignore or place something over it if it bothers you. if you mess with it, it will only get worse.

put whiting toothpaste on it bought ex display model iMac few weeks ago unless up really really Close can't see scratch now
