iPad Remove Backgrounds from Photos

Anyone know the iPad specs for this to work? Have 2017 iPad pro…doesn’t seem to work?

Thanks! Looks like mine is a ‘no go’….but have been thinking of upgrading . Can do it on the new phone so not a real loss.

Apparently it needs the neural engine, so for iPads that means not being available on anything pre 2019 (I have the 2017 IPP too and share your pain).

Oh well. Works on the phone. Due for a new iPad but can easily wait.

But mind you the remove background feature is not impeccable. The photo needs to have a clear background and foreground for the Software to be able to clearly distinguish and do a decent job in isolating the background from the foreground.
