So I installed a profile for the HomePod OS beta and am now on 14.1, but I want to make sure that when the latest stable build of 14.1 comes out that it updates to the latest version and not the beta version. How can I removed the beta profile from the HomePod? On an iOS device I would delete the profile from the settings but I don't see any options for that on HomePod.

Factory reset it. (Remove from Home app)

No need to factory reset it like someone suggested. Just open the home app, long press on the HomePod and slide up to get to the Settings. Then scroll down to Profiles and Device Management. Tap on the beta profile and then tap remove profile. Done.

Am I in trouble? I cannot get my HomePods to update to 14.6 nor can I remove the beta profile from them. When I try to remove it using the Home app -- I receive an alert that "Could not complete operation". I tried a factory reset on one HomePod and now it's stuck on "Configuring". It does show up as an AirPlay device, but I cannot control any lights or get all the settings options to appear.

"HomePod is being configured. Additional settings will be available shortly..." and this remains this way for hours.

Almost a full day later, the HomePod stuck on "Configuring" is no longer stuck on it (Hooray!) -- with no Beta Profile installed and now at 14.6.

I'm still not able to remove the Beta Profile from the other three (two Minis and one 2008) which are still on 14.5
