Is it possible to remove the clock from the lock screen wallpaper?

I would like to only see it once the phone is locked and only shows the lock screen, which I have on black, and not the wallpaper.

Thanks

Umm… no

It's unclear to me whether you want to remove the clock from the Lock screen or the Home screen. The Home screen and Lock screen appear to be customizable separately.

You can't remove the clock from the Lock screen, but you can change its color to match a solid-color background image, or a solid part of a background image. The clock will then "disappear into the background".

If you want an actual pic for your lock screen wallpaper, the best you can do is make the time as skinny as possible so it covers less of it

Time on the lock screen has been there since iPhoneOS 1, honestly I’m surprised Apple has let us mess with it on more recent versions of iOS considering how iconic it is for iPhone
