Remove computer's name in status bar

Since upgrading from SL to lion my computers name now appears in the top right of the status bar. I can't figure out how to remove it and really don't want it since it is a wast of space. Can anyone help me out here?

Hold CMD and drag it off the menu bar?

Or it should be under Users and Accounts as the "Fast User Switching Menu"
