Remove corupted cydia

I tried to Jailbreak this iphone using Pangu, I got the message Jailbreak failed, and tried again several times with no joy, Cydia icon has appeared on my phone but doesn't work so I decided to remove it. Unfortunatly I'm not able to do this. I have restored my phone several times since this incident, unfortunatly it still will not be removed and wont delete.

Can anyone help me remove it? I have an iphone 4 running ios 7.1.2

Put your phone in DFU mode in iTunes. Then upgrade and restore.
