Remove Date in Today Widget View

Is it possible to remove the current date from the top of the notification center without jailbreaking? I would have thought that by removing the Today Summary (weather and upcoming appointments) that it would have removed the current date as well. It seems a bit superfluous when using apps like Fantastical that give you a calendar and list of events view.

It's pretty much there by default as it's basically directly related to the "Today" aspect of that view.
