Remove device - option not available

Hello,

have you ever faced an issue I have, there is no Remove this device option available for my Macbook Air (M2)?
I tried to do this from Macbook and from iCloud account as well but I am missing this option at all.

I need to servis a battery but I cannot deactivate my laptop from Find my app.

You don’t want to remove it from your devices. You just want to turn off The location tracking.


Here’s the Apple support article on how to do that

Turn off Find My on your devices and items

Turn off Find My on a device to remove it from your Devices list and remove Activation Lock.
