Remove dock resize bar

Hi all,

I'm trying to make my Mac mini media centre UI as minimal as possible. Perhaps its just a tad obsessive but I would love to be able to remove the dock resize bar as seen in my screenshot attached. I can't find anything online really.

Can anyone help me with this?
