Remove duplicate entires grid/list/fan view

Hi all,

I've trawled the internet looking for an answer, usually I find one, but I can't find a way to remove a duplicate entry in Grid/List/Fan view in my applications.

I've tried uninstalling the app etc, but still a duplicate remains.

Any ideas?

ive had this with another folder. have you tried rebooting or terminal "killall Dock"? this removed the duplicate entry for me.

Thank you genius. killall -KILL Dock worked a treat.
