ny somewhere
i never use the favorites bar; i'd like to get it's folder OUT of the bookmarks dropdown menu. any ideas? a plist to edit? or...?

just wondering if there's a way to do this (am willing to tamper with plists, resources...i WILL backup everything first!)

Safari / View / Customize Tool bar, add the favorites bar button.

Then click this button to hide the favorites bar.

Yes this is not what you are asking for, this is "just in case" :D

(I think that items in menu bars never are in .plist files).

that just makes it visible...then NOT visible, in the main window.
i want to remove the folder from the Bookmarks dropdown menu...
