I've made mistake to add the Pictures-folder to Desktop wallpaper-setting, and can't remove it. If the "Pictures" is selected the MINIS-icon is disabled. Can you be so kind to tell me how can I remove "Pictures" from folder-list in Desktop & Screen Saver in System Settings

The solution described in https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...m-desktop-and-screensaver-preferences.835391/ can't resolve the thread

The pictures folder is listed in my Mojave Desktop & Screen Saver preferences, without me ever having added it there. I doubt you can remove it.

I agree with chrfr, you can't remove the Pictures folder. A workaround to not displaying pictures in that folder is to put unwanted pictures in a new folder inside the Pictures folder.
