How do I remove a folder from Desktop & Screen Saver in System Preferences? Where is the catch stored? I deleted the folder in my documents that was added, and it still shows the pictures in Desktop & Screen Saver.

You mean you have selected a folder by clicking on 'Choose folder'

You just select a new folder...
