hi. there were a lot of topics about removing icon from sidebar but it wasnt helpful for me. in attachment is screenshot from my finder. my ask is how to remove folder "DVD bez tytułu" with atom icon from my sidebar. many thanks for help

i want to add that i am working on macbook pro mac osx 10.6.8.

What were the methods you tried that didn't work? Normally holding down the command key and dragging away the icon and releasing it should remove it.

Edit: Goddammit, beaten to it :)
 
yes im trying it but there is available only open finder preferences

drag and drop option to trash didnt work too
 
You are probably pressing the control key. The command keys are directly either side of the space bar.

No, what we meant was, that you have to hold down the Command () key (the first one on the left and on the right from the Spacebar), then use the mouse pointer to click and hold the icon in the Sidebar and drag it off the Sidebar.

You seem to be pressing the Control () key instead of the Command () key.
