Remove Growl

I have Lion 10.7.3 installed. I have followed the instructions on how to remove Growl, yet even now that Growl appears to be gone its pop ups still present in the upper right corner. How do I get rid of this?

If you're still getting pop-ups you didn't uninstall it properly. Try uninstalling it again.
