Remove iOS5 Carrier Logo

Hi guys,
After updating to ios5 beta 5 i noticed the carrier logo has changed from 'Optus' to 'Yes Optus'. Thats all fine, but the thing is it's now really long and quite ugly.

The safari loading circle has been moved to the right, and everything is cluttered.
Anyway, is there any way yet to remove the carrier logo without the need for a jailbreak?

If not, is there an untethered jailbreak for ios5 beta 5?

think this is in the wrong section but... no you cannot with jailbreaking and there is no untethered jailbreak for ios beta 5

I know there are bigger things in life, but this is quite annoying. Apple should restrict the carrier name length; taking up valuable notification area is ridiculous.
